Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At Cristina Barr Photography, we strive to provide high-quality photography services. Please read our Refund Policy carefully before booking. By securing a booking with us, you agree to the following terms:

 

 

 

1. Deposits / Retainers

 

 

  • All deposits/retainers paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.

  • Deposits secure your session date and time, and prevent us from accepting other bookings during that period.

 

 

 

 

2. Cancellations by Client

 

 

  • Cancellations made by the client after booking are not eligible for a refund of the deposit.

  • If the client cancels after full payment, only the amount beyond the deposit may be refundable, depending on how close to the session date the cancellation occurs:

     

    • More than 7 days before session: 50% of the remaining balance (excluding deposit) may be refunded.

    • Less than 7 days before session: No refunds will be issued.

     

 

 

 

 

3. Rescheduling

 

 

  • Clients may reschedule once (subject to availability) without penalty if notice is given at least 7 days before the scheduled session.

  • Rescheduling within 7 days of the session may require a rescheduling fee.

 

 

 

 

4. Cancellations by Photographer

 

 

  • In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including your deposit.

  • Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule to the next available date.

 

 

 

 

5. No-Shows

 

 

  • If the client fails to attend the scheduled session without notice, no refund will be provided.

  • Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in reduced shooting time.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication, the session may be considered canceled and no refund will be provided.

 

 

 

 

6. Product Refunds

 

 

  • Due to the custom nature of photography products (prints, albums, digital files), all delivered products are non-refundable.

  • If a product is defective or damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery for replacement.

 

 

 

 

7. Digital Files

 

 

  • Once digital images have been delivered, no refunds will be issued.

 

 

 

 

8. Force Majeure

 

 

  • We are not liable for cancellations caused by events outside of our control (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions). In such cases, deposits remain non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule your session.
