Contract and Policies (Preview)

To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review the following contract and policies before securing your session.

Booking Policy

1. Booking & Deposit

• A non-refundable retainer of 25% of the total due is required to reserve your date and time.

• Remaining balance is due 10 days before the session.

• Your session is not confirmed until the retainer and signed agreement are received.

 

2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 7 days notice, subject to availability.

• Cancellations made by client more than 7 days before session: 50% of the remaining balance (excluding deposit) may be refunded. Less than 7 days before session: No refunds will be issued.

• If the photographer must cancel for any reason, a full refund (including deposit) or reschedule will be offered.

 

3. Late Arrivals

• Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in reduced shooting time.

• If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication, the session may be considered canceled, and no refund will be provided.

 

4. Weather Policy (for outdoor sessions)

• If weather conditions are not ideal, sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

• The photographer will make the final decision regarding rescheduling due to weather.

• We are not liable for cancellations caused by events outside of our control (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions). In such cases, deposits remain non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule your session.

 

5. Images & Delivery

• Final edits will be delivered via an online gallery within 2 weeks of the scheduled session. For all weddings and events, final edits will be delivered within 3 weeks of the scheduled session.

• Raw/unedited images are NOT provided.

• Gallery access will remain available for 90 days, after which images may be archived.

 

6. Payments

• Invoices will be emailed and payments collected via Square.

• All payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases where the photographer cancels.

 

7. Copyright & Usage

• The photographer retains copyright to all images. • Clients receive personal use rights and may print/share images.

• Commercial use requires written permission and may involve additional fees. Please review our Refund Policy on our website for further details.

Image Delivery

 

• Final edits will be delivered via an online gallery within 2 weeks of the scheduled session. For all weddings and events, final edits will be delivered within 3 weeks of the scheduled session.

• Gallery access will remain available for 90 days, after which images may be archived.

Image Use & Quality Protection Clause


Client agrees not to screenshot, screen-record, or otherwise capture images delivered through online galleries or digital platforms. Screenshots significantly reduce image quality and do not represent the Photographer’s work accurately. Only the original, downloaded files provided by the Photographer may be shared or posted on social media or other platforms. Unauthorized screenshots or altered versions of the images are prohibited.

 

Event Conditions

1. Access & Cooperation
Client agrees to provide reasonable access to event locations and ensure cooperation from guests, vendors, and venue staff to facilitate coverage.

2. Venue & Vendor Restrictions
Photographer is not responsible for missed or compromised images due to venue rules, restrictions, or interference from vendors or guests.

3. Event Lighting & Equipment Safety
Client acknowledges that certain event lighting, including but not limited to DJ-provided lights, strobes, continuous beams, and lasers, may interfere with or damage photographic equipment. Photographer is not responsible for reduced image quality, missed moments, or equipment damage caused by venue lighting, DJ effects, or restrictions beyond Photographer’s control. Photographer reserves the right to adjust shooting position, settings, or temporarily cease coverage if lighting conditions pose a risk to equipment.

4. Guest Interference (Phones, Tablets, iPads)
Photographer is not responsible for missed images due to guests obstructing views, including the use of mobile devices.

5. Weather & Environmental Conditions
Photographer is not responsible for reduced image quality, delays, or missed moments due to weather, environmental conditions, or natural lighting limitations.

6. Safety & Equipment Protection
Photographer may refuse or suspend coverage in unsafe conditions without penalty or refund.

7. Timeline Changes
Client acknowledges that changes or delays to the event timeline may affect coverage and image delivery.

8. No Guaranteed Images
Photographer does not guarantee specific poses, moments, or images.

Hours of Coverage

Breaks and Meals:
• Sessions lasting longer than 2 hours may include brief rest breaks at the Photographer’s discretion to ensure quality and consistency of work.
• For continuous event/wedding coverage exceeding 4 hours, the Photographer is entitled to reasonable breaks, including at least one meal break. Breaks will be scheduled at a time that does not interfere with key moments or agreed-upon coverage. Client acknowledges that the Photographer may temporarily pause coverage during such breaks.

Overtime Coverage & Billing
• Coverage beyond the contracted hours constitutes overtime and is subject to availability. Overtime is billed at a rate of $250 per hour (or $125 per half-hour) for weddings and $150 per hour (or $75 per half-hour) for events . Overtime incurred on the day of the event will be invoiced following the event and is due in full within 7 days of invoice receipt.
• Client acknowledges that event timelines may change. If coverage extends beyond the agreed end time due to delays, schedule changes, or Client request, such time will be billed as overtime at the stated rate and invoiced after the event.
• Overtime coverage provides additional shooting time beyond the contracted hours. Images delivered from overtime coverage will reflect the events and moments captured during that time. No specific number of images is guaranteed for overtime coverage.

Completion of Services & Acceptance

 

• Services are deemed completed upon delivery of the final edited image gallery. Client agrees to review the gallery within 7 days of delivery. If no written notice of technical issues or missing files is received within that time, the gallery shall be considered accepted and services completed.
• Requests for additional edits, re-exports, or changes after acceptance may be subject to additional fees.
