Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy – Cristina Barr Photography To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, please review the following booking policies before securing your session. 1. Booking & Deposit • A non-refundable retainer of 25% of the total due is required to reserve your date and time. • Remaining balance is due 10 days before the session. • Your session is not confirmed until the retainer and signed agreement are received. 2. Rescheduling & Cancellations • Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 7 days notice, subject to availability. • Cancellations made by client more than 7 days before session: 50% of the remaining balance (excluding deposit) may be refunded. Less than 7 days before session: No refunds will be issued. • If the photographer must cancel for any reason, a full refund (including deposit) or reschedule will be offered. 3. Late Arrivals • Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in reduced shooting time. • If you are more than 15 minutes late without communication, the session may be considered canceled, and no refund will be provided. 4. Weather Policy (for outdoor sessions) • If weather conditions are not ideal, sessions may be rescheduled at no additional cost. • The photographer will make the final decision regarding rescheduling due to weather. • We are not liable for cancellations caused by events outside of our control (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions). In such cases, deposits remain non-refundable, but we will work with you to reschedule your session. 5. Images & Delivery • Preview galleries are typically delivered within 1 week. • Final edits and digital files will be delivered within 2 weeks after the client makes selections (if applicable). • Raw/unedited images are not provided. 6. Payments • Invoices will be emailed and payments collected via Square. • All payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases where the photographer cancels. 7. Copyright & Usage • The photographer retains copyright to all images. • Clients receive personal use rights and may print/share images. • Commercial use requires written permission and may involve additional fees.
